🎓 Educational Qualifications

Essential Qualification:

• Matriculation (10th Class) from a recognized Board

Domicile Requirement:

• Must be a domicile of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir with valid Domicile Certificate issued by Competent Authority

Nationality:

• Must be a citizen of India

Physical Standards:

For Male Candidates:

• Height: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches
• Chest (Unexpanded): 32 inches
• Chest (Expanded): 33½ inches
• Relaxation for Gorkha Community/Bot Tribe: Height relaxable by 2 inches

For Female Candidates:

• Height: Minimum 5 feet 2 inches
• Relaxation for Gorkha Community/Bot Tribe: Height relaxable by 2 inches

Note: Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are not eligible for these posts.

Pay Scale: Level-2 in the Pay Matrix

Salary Range: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200 per month

🎯 Selection Process

The selection process consists of five stages:

Stage 1: Written Examination

• Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Questions will be set in English Language only
• Negative Marking: One-fourth (¼) marks deducted for each wrong answer
• NCC Bonus Marks:
  • 5% for NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders
  • 3% for NCC ‘B’ Certificate holders
  • 2% for NCC ‘A’ Certificate holders

Stage 2: Physical Standard Test (PST) – Qualifying

• Candidates shortlisted: Six times the total vacancies in each category based on written test merit
• Male: Height 5’6″, Chest 32″ (unexpanded), 33½” (expanded)
• Female: Height 5’2″
• Height relaxation of 2 inches for Gorkha Community/Bot Tribe

Stage 3: Physical Endurance Test (PET) – Qualifying

For Male Candidates:

• 1600 meters race in 6½ minutes
• 20 push-ups

For Female Candidates:

• 1000 meters race in 6½ minutes
• Shot put (4 Kgs) – 14½ feet in three attempts

Relaxed Standards for Ex-Servicemen (based on age)

Stage 4: Medical Examination

• Selected candidates will be medically examined to assess physical and medical fitness

Stage 5: Document Verification

• Shortlisted candidates must appear with original documents
• Verification of educational qualification, domicile, category certificates, etc.

Important Instructions:
