🎓 Educational Qualifications

For Engineering/Technology Subjects (IT & Metallurgical Engineering):

• B.E./B.Tech./B.S. AND M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent (either in Bachelor’s or Master’s)
• OR Ph.D. after Bachelor’s degree from institutions of national importance with GATE qualification

For Science & Humanities Subjects (Chemistry & Physics):

• Master’s Degree in relevant subject with 55% marks (50% for reserved categories)
• AND NET/JET qualified OR Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016

Relaxations:

• 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD candidates
• Additional 5% relaxation for Ph.D. holders who obtained Master’s before 19 September 1991

💰 Salary Details (per month)

Pay Scale: Level-10 (7th CPC)

Entry Pay: ₹57,700 per month

Additional Benefits:

• Dearness Allowance (DA)
• House Rent Allowance (HRA)
• Other admissible allowances as per government norms

Probation Period: 2 years

Retirement Age: 65 years

🎯 Selection Process

Total Marks: 100

Selection is based on:

1. Academic Record & Achievements: 80 marks
   • Educational qualifications, research publications, teaching experience, awards, etc.
2. Interview: 20 marks
   • For shortlisted candidates only

Interview Call Ratio:

• 5 times the number of vacancies called for document verification
• Top 3 times candidates called for interview

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• EBC candidates: 34%
• SC/ST candidates: 32%

Final merit list prepared based on combined marks of academic record and interview.

⏳ Age Limit

As on 01 August 2025:

• Minimum Age: No minimum age prescribed
• Maximum Age: Must be below 65 years
• Retirement Age: 65 years

Important: Candidates who will attain 65 years of age during the selection process will not be considered for appointment.
