🎓 Educational Qualifications

Essential Qualification:

  • A degree from any recognized university incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India OR
  • Degree from educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament OR
  • Degree from institutions declared as deemed university under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 OR
  • Degree from a foreign university approved by the Central Government OR
  • Equivalent qualification recognized by the Government

🎯 Selection Process

The selection process consists of three stages:

1. Preliminary Examination

  • Objective type questions
  • Qualifying in nature
  • Tests general studies and current affairs

2. Main Examination

  • Written examination with descriptive questions
  • Tests in-depth knowledge and analytical ability
  • Multiple papers covering various subjects

3. Interview / Personality Test

  • For candidates who qualify the Main Examination

  • Complete One Time Registration on JPSC portal
  • Note down your OTR credentials

Step 2: Fill Application Form

  • Login with OTR credentials
  • Fill the Combined Civil Services Examination application form
  • Enter all required details carefully:
    • Personal information
    • Educational qualifications
    • Category details
    • Post preference

Step 3: Upload Documents

  • Upload scanned copies of:
    • Recent passport size photograph
    • Signature
    • Other relevant documents (if required)

Step 4: Pay Application Fee

  • Make payment through online mode
  • Save the payment receipt

Step 5: Submit Application

  • Review all entered information
  • Submit the application form
  • No certificates need to be attached with online application

Step 6: Download Application

  • Login again after submission
  • Go to “Download Filled Application Section” on dashboard
  • Download and print two copies for your records

Important: Claims made in the online application cannot be modified during the recruitment process. All original certificates must be submitted during interview as per claims made in the application.
