🎓 Educational Qualifications

Jr. Overman (192 posts)

• Diploma (3 years) or Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized institute
• Valid Un-Restricted Overman Competency Certificate from DGMS (Coal Mines Regulation 2017) — valid for both Open Cast (OC) & Underground (UG) Mines
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Valid Gas Testing Certificate

Mining Sirdar (448 posts)

• 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized Board OR Diploma/Degree in Mining Engineering
• Valid Un-Restricted Mining Sirdarship Competency Certificate from DGMS (for both OC & UG Mines)
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Valid Gas Testing Certificate

Surveyor (24 posts)

• 10+2 from a recognized Board OR Diploma/Degree in Mining/Mine Surveying Engineering
• Valid Un-Restricted Survey Competency Certificate from DGMS (for both OC & UG Mines)

Translator – OL (1 post)

• B.A. or equivalent with Hindi & English
• Government Diploma in Hindi Translation (preferred)

Technician (Pathology) (2 posts)

• Diploma in Pathology from a Government-recognized institute

💰 Salary Details (Per Month)

All salaries are as per NCWA-XI (National Coal Wage Agreement) and include additional allowances and fringe benefits.

In addition to basic pay, employees get allowances and fringe benefits as per company rules — making the total in-hand package significantly higher.

🎯 Selection Process

Selection is done through a Computer Based Test (CBT) only — no personal interview.

The test has 100 objective-type questions (no negative marking) divided into two sections:

• Section A — General Awareness & Aptitude: 20 questions × 1 mark = 20 marks
• Section B — Technical Knowledge: 80 questions × 1 mark = 80 marks

Qualifying Marks:

After CBT, candidates shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio (3 candidates per vacancy) are called for Document Verification. After verification, a Provisional Select List is published on the MCL website. Finally, selected candidates must clear a Medical Examination (IME) — those found unfit will be disqualified.

7. Submit the form and pay the fee online.
8. Take a printout of the final application for future reference.
