📍 Vacancy Details

Manager (Civil) – 2 Posts

Responsibilities: Executing greenfield/brownfield projects, construction management, quality assurance, cost control, and structural work.

Required Experience: Proven expertise in construction management, earth work, piling, RCC structures, and building maintenance.


Manager (Mechanical) – 12 Posts

Responsibilities: Maintenance of critical equipment like pumps, ball mills, crushers, and conveyors. Expertise in alumina refinery operations.

Required Experience: Experience in pump maintenance, ball mills, crushers, power plants, and alumina refinery mechanical maintenance.


Manager (Electrical) – 8 Posts

Responsibilities: Electrical systems management, power distribution, transformers, and PLC/VFD operations in industrial settings.

Required Experience: Proficiency in PLC, VFD, power distribution systems, and experience in alumina refinery electrical maintenance.


Manager (Chemical) – 20 Posts

Responsibilities: Process optimization, quality control, and technical management in the Bayer process for alumina production.

Required Experience: Expertise in Bayer process, Calciner operations, and Alumina refinery project commissioning.


Manager (E&I) – 6 Posts

Responsibilities: Instrumentation systems, DCS/PLC programming, and field instrumentation management in industrial plants.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a UGC-recognized Indian university or AICTE-approved institution

    • Civil: B.Tech/B.E in Civil or Architecture Engineering
    • Mechanical: B.Tech/B.E in Mechanical Engineering
    • Electrical: B.Tech/B.E in Electrical, Power, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
    • Chemical: B.Tech/B.E in Chemical Engineering or M.Tech in Applied Chemistry
    • E&I: B.Tech/B.E in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, or related disciplines

  • Degrees from open and distance learning mode (ODL) recognized by statutory bodies are eligible

💼 Experience Requirements

Minimum Experience

8 years as an Executive or Officer in any of the following:

  • Government departments
  • Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
  • Reputed or leading organizations

Discipline-Specific Experience

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in executing Alumina Refinery projects
  • Project commissioning and erection experience
  • Operation and maintenance of specific equipment relevant to the discipline
  • Quality assurance and process optimization
  • Supervisory experience in technical teams

Important Note

  • Experience of fixed-term basis employment, direct engagement in organizations, and government/PSU service are considered
  • Contractor-based employment through empaneled agencies will NOT be counted
  • In-service government/PSU candidates need 2 years of experience in the immediate lower pay scale

Definition of “Reputed Organization”

Organizations that are either:

  • Listed on NSE or Group A/B of BSE
  • Having annual turnover exceeding ₹250 crores in any of the last 3 financial years

🎯 Selection Process

Stage 1: Written Test or Computer-Based Test (CBT)

  • Duration & Format: Objective-type multiple-choice questions
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Weightage: 85% of final selection
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
    • UR candidates: 50%
    • SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/UR(PwBD): 40%
    • OBC(PwBD)/SC(PwBD)/ST(PwBD): 30%

Stage 2: Personal Interview

  • Total Marks: 100 (Converted to 15% weightage in final merit)
  • Format: Face-to-face assessment of technical knowledge and communication skills
  • Shortlisting Ratio: Top 1 in 10 candidates (1:10 ratio) based on CBT scores will be called for interview
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
    • UR candidates: 50%
    • SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/UR(PwBD): 40%
    • OBC(PwBD)/SC(PwBD)/ST(PwBD): 30%

Final Merit List

  • Preparation: Based on combined score of CBT (85%) + Personal Interview (15%)
  • Ranking: Category-wise merit list subject to reservation rules
  • Travel Reimbursement: 2nd class AC train/bus fare for PI attendees (SC/ST/PwBD get reimbursement for CBT also)
