Additional requirements for all posts:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak Odia and must have passed Odia as a subject at the relevant standard
• Must be a citizen of India and a resident of Odisha
• Junior Assistant: Must have registered name in an Employment Exchange of the concerned district on or before the application date

🎯 Selection Process

Selection is done in two clear stages — no interview for most posts:

Stage 1 — Written Test (100 Marks) MCQ-based OMR/Computer-Based Test (1.5 hours) with the following sections:

• Negative Marking: ¼ mark deducted for each wrong answer
• Qualifying Marks: 35% for General / 30% for SC, ST, PwD, Ex-Servicemen, and Sportspersons

Stage 2 — Computer Practical Skill Test (50 Marks) 1-hour practical test, qualifying in nature. Minimum 40% required for all candidates. Candidates shortlisted (minimum 3x vacancies) from Stage 1 are eligible.

After Stage 2:

• Document Verification by District Level Board
• Counselling for post/department/district preference
• Final Provisional Select Lists published on osssc.gov.in

⏳ Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025)

Age Relaxations:

• SC / ST / SEBC: 5 years extra
• Women candidates (for RI, ARI, VAW, JA, Amin, SFS): 5 years extra
• PwD candidates: 10 years extra
• Ex-Servicemen (RI, ICDS Supervisor): 5 years; for other posts, relaxation by total defence service period
• Anganwadi Workers applying for ICDS Supervisor: Additional 5 years relaxation

💳 Application Fee

Payment is online only (Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI). The fee of ₹500 is refunded to candidates who actually appear in the exam, after attendance verification.

2. New users: Complete registration by entering your details and uploading your photo and signature
3. Existing users (registered for any previous OSSSC recruitment): Log in and select the “Re-registration” option for this post
4. After registration, log in again and fill the detailed online application form
5. Upload all required documents carefully
6. Pay the examination fee online (if applicable)
7. Submit the application and download/print the Confirmation Page
