🎓 Educational Qualifications

Qualifications vary by position. Here are the main requirements:

For Technical Posts:

• Assistant Lineman & ASSA: 10th pass or ITI certificate in relevant trade
• Electrician Grade-II: ITI in Electrical discipline (minimum 60% marks) OR Diploma in Electrical Engineering (minimum 50% marks)
• Junior Engineer – Electrical/Civil/Communication: Full-time Diploma (3 years) with minimum 50% marks from AICTE-approved or State Board institution
• Telephone Mechanic: Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering (minimum 50% marks)

For Administrative Posts:

• Assistant Engineer – Electrical: BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (minimum 60% marks) from AICTE-approved university
• Assistant Manager – IT: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or MCA (minimum 60% marks)
• Accounts Officer: CA or ICWA (minimum 60% marks)
• Divisional Accountant: CA Inter or equivalent
• Law Officer Grade-II: LLB (5-year integrated or 3-year course with minimum 55% marks) + 3 years professional experience
• Lower Division Clerk/Typist: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 50% marks) + 120 hours Computer Course
• Lower Division Clerk (Accounts): Bachelor’s in Commerce (minimum 50% marks) + Computer Course

Language Requirement: Punjabi language proficiency up to Matric standard is mandatory for all positions.

💰 Stipend / Salary Details (Per Month)

Salaries are structured as per 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) rules and PSTCL Pay Matrix, applicable since 07.07.2020:

3. No Interview: For most positions, selection is purely on merit without interview rounds
