🎓 Educational Qualifications
Candidates should possess either of the following:
- 10th Class Pass from a recognized Board
- ITI Certificate from a recognized institution
Candidates with ITI qualifications may have preference for certain technical posts.
💰 Salary Details (per month)
- Pay Level: Level 1 under 7th Pay Commission
- Starting Salary: ₹18,000 per month (approximately)
- Grade Pay & Allowances: As per Railway rules (DA, HRA, and other allowances applicable)
🎯 Selection Process
The selection will be conducted through the following stages:
Computer Based Test (CBT): Multiple choice questions covering General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, and General Awareness. The exam pattern and detailed syllabus will be announced in the main notification.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify in CBT will be called for Physical Efficiency Test as per Railway standards (applicable for certain posts).
Document Verification: Final verification of all original documents and certificates.
Medical Examination: Selected candidates will undergo medical fitness examination as per Railway standards.
⏳ Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 33 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government rules
