🎓 Educational Qualifications

Candidates must fulfill BOTH of the following requirements:

Academic Qualification:

  • Passed Matriculation/10th Class examination under the 10+2 system
  • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board

Technical Qualification:

  • Must have passed ITI in the relevant trade
  • ITI certificate should be issued by NCVT/SCVT (recognized by Government of India)
  • Must possess National Trade Certificate

Important Notes:

  • Candidates awaiting results are NOT eligible to apply
  • Both Matriculation and ITI certificates must be from recognized institutions
  • ITI trade must match with the post applied for

💰 Stipend Details (Per Month)

The stipend will be paid as per the extant rules applicable to Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The stipend amount varies based on the trade and duration of training.

For exact stipend details, candidates are advised to refer to the official notification and the Apprentices Act guidelines.

Note: Stipend is subject to revision as per government notifications


🎯 Selection Process

The selection will be conducted through a systematic process:

Step 1: Application Screening

  • All online applications will be screened for eligibility
  • Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected

Step 2: Merit List Preparation

  • Merit will be based on average percentage marks obtained in Matriculation and ITI examinations
  • Equal weightage given to both Matriculation (50%) and ITI (50%) marks
  • Formula: (Matriculation % + ITI %) / 2

Step 3: Document Verification

  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification
  • Original certificates must be produced
  • Any discrepancy will lead to disqualification

Step 4: Medical Examination

  • Selected candidates must meet prescribed medical fitness standards
  • Medical examination will be conducted as per Railway rules

Note: No written examination or interview will be conducted for this recruitment.
