🎓 Educational Qualifications

Degree Required:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering OR Electrical Engineering from a recognized university/institute
• Minimum 50% marks required

Experience Required:

• Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) project execution and network management
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of Fiber Optic Networks

Essential Skills:

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of fiber optic networks
• OTDR-based fault diagnostics and fusion splicing
• Understanding of fiber optic transmission and signal propagation
• SLA/KPI monitoring and fault resolution
• Performance optimization of telecom networks
• Cable management practices

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with GIS, ABD, RFMS and Network Management Systems (NMS)
• Working knowledge of OTDR, Power Meters, Fusion Splicers and Visual Fault Locators (VFL)
• Proficiency in MS Office and network monitoring tools

💰 Salary Details (Per Month)

Compensation: Monthly consolidated remuneration shall be negotiable and commensurate with:

• Educational qualification
• Relevant experience
• Market benchmarks

Important Notes:

• Documents relating to last drawn remuneration must be provided at time of finalization
• Statutory deductions (EPF, Income Tax, Professional Tax) will be made as applicable
• Employer’s EPF contribution included in CTC

⏳ Age Limit

Maximum Age: 40 years (as on 19 December 2025)

Age Relaxation (as per Government of India guidelines):

• SC/ST candidates: Additional 5 years
• OBC (NCL) candidates: Additional 3 years
• PwBD candidates: Additional 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per applicable rules

🎯 Selection Process

The selection is conducted through a transparent walk-in interview process:

Stage 1: Walk-in Interview

• Interview conducted by RVNL selection committee
• Assessment of domain knowledge and experience in fiber optic networks
• Evaluation of overall suitability for the assignment

Stage 2: Document Verification

• Original certificates verified
• Experience certificates checked
• Category certificates verified (if applicable)

Stage 3: Final Selection

• Based on interview performance and document verification
• Merit-based selection

Contract Terms:

• Duration: 1 year initial, extendable up to 3 years based on performance
• Service Bond: Equal to 2 months’ consolidated remuneration for 1-year minimum service period
• Termination: 1-month advance notice required from either side
• Important: Service bond must be executed at time of joining

• Report at 10:00 AM on your category’s specified date
• Bring all original documents
