- Minimum 55% marks at Master’s level
- Minimum 10 publications as books/research papers
- 10 years teaching/research experience as Assistant/Associate Professor
- Evidence of guiding doctoral candidates
For Associate Professor:
- Ph.D degree in relevant discipline
- Master’s degree with 55% marks
- 8 years teaching/research experience
- Minimum 5 publications as books/research papers
- Evidence of guiding doctoral research
For Assistant Professor:
- Master’s degree with 55% marks in relevant subject
- NET/SET/SLET qualified (conducted by UGC/CSIR) OR
- Ph.D degree awarded as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016
- NET/SET not required for disciplines where such tests are not conducted
For Assistant Librarian:
- Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with 55% marks
- NET qualified (UGC/CSIR) or equivalent
