🎓 Educational Qualifications Required

Qualifications vary based on the position level:

For Group C (Level 4/5) Posts:

  • University Degree or equivalent from a recognized institution
  • Example: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream

For Group C (Level 2/3) Posts:

  • 12th Pass (Plus-II) or equivalent from recognized board/council
  • Example: High School Diploma or equivalent

For Group D (Level 1) Posts:

  • 10th Pass OR ITI OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC)
  • Minimum: Class 10 completion

Important Notes:

  • Qualification must be from a recognized institution
  • Candidates appearing for final exams are NOT eligible yet

Selection is based on sports achievements and trial performance:

  • Level 2/3: 65 marks (minimum)

Final Selection:

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Can I apply if I’m 26 years old? No. Maximum age is strictly 25 years as on 1st January 2026. No relaxation available for anyone.

Q2: What if my sports achievement is before April 2023? Unfortunately, achievements must be on or after 1st April 2023. Earlier achievements don’t count.

Q3: Can I apply for multiple sports disciplines? You should apply for your primary sport. Check with RRC-SER for multiple applications clarity.

Q4: What if my sports federation is not recognized by MoYAS? Certificates from unrecognized federations won’t be accepted. Achievements must be under MoYAS recognized federations.

Q5: Will I get fee refund if I don’t attend trials? No. Refund only if you attend the sports trial. Non-attendance = no refund.

Q6: Do SC/ST candidates get any age relaxation? NO. No age relaxation for any category. Age limit is strictly 18-25 years for all.

Q7: Where will I be posted after selection? You can be posted anywhere on South Eastern Railway network. You have no choice in posting location.

Q8: What’s the service bond period? Selected candidates must sign a 5-year service bond with the railway.

Q9: Will travel and accommodation be provided for trials? No. SC/ST candidates get free rail travel (2nd class), but no accommodation or allowance. Bring your own kit.

Q10: What if there are multiple candidates with same marks? Younger candidate will get preference. If still tied, it will be as per railway policy.
