A panel of approximately 90 candidates will be selected for engagement as Law Clerks-cum-Research Associates on a purely contractual basis for the term 2026-2027.
Note: This is a short-term contractual assignment and does not guarantee permanent employment with the Supreme Court.
🎓 Educational Qualifications
Essential Qualification:
You must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) from any university or institution recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrollment as an Advocate.
Eligibility includes:
- 3-Year Law Degree after graduation in any stream
- 5-Year Integrated Law Course
- Students in the final year (5th year of integrated course or 3rd year of law course) can also apply, provided they acquire the law degree before joining
Additional Skills Required:

Your selection involves a 3-stage process:
Stage 1: Written Test – Part I (Objective MCQs)

- Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
- Duration and total marks as per official notification
Stage 2: Written Test – Part II (Subjective)

- Conducted on the same day as Part-I with a break in between
Stage 3: Interview
- Only candidates who qualify both Part-I and Part-II proceed to interview
