🎓 Educational Qualifications
Essential:
- Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) from a recognized school
- Certificate of successfully completing Nursing Assistant training course from Government Medical Institutions in Tamil Nadu
- Adequate knowledge of Tamil language (Tamil as a subject in SSLC or all non-language subjects in Tamil medium or Second Class Language Test in Tamil)
Note: The training course must be completed prior to the date of G.O.(Ms).No.325, Health and Family Welfare Department, dated 20.11.2012 for special category candidates as per G.O.(Ms).No.77.
💰 Salary Details (per month)
Pay Scale: Rs. 15,700 – 58,100/-
Pay Matrix Level: Level-1 (as per 7th Pay Commission)
Additional benefits and allowances applicable to Tamil Nadu Government servants will be provided.
🎯 Selection Process
Selection will be based on marks scored in academic and technical qualifications only.
Weightage Distribution:
- SSLC/10th Certificate: 60%
- Nursing Assistant Certificate Course: 40%
Important: There will be NO written exam or interview for this recruitment. Selection is purely merit-based on educational qualifications.
Priority will be given to candidates who completed training before G.O.(Ms).No.325 dated 20.11.2012, with an age relaxation of 14 years.
⏳ Age Limit (as on 01 July 2026)
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age:
- Open Category (OC): 34 years
- SC/ST/SCA/BC/BCM/MBC/DNC: No maximum age limit (should not exceed 60 years)
- Differently Abled Persons: 44 years (10 years relaxation over OC)
- Destitute Widow: No maximum age limit (should not exceed 60 years)
Note: Applicants with 5+ years of State/Central Government service in non-reserved categories cannot apply even if within age limit.
