🎓 Educational Qualifications

For Senior Legal Consultant:

• Degree in Law (Bachelor of Laws – LLB) from a recognized university
• Enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India
• Continuous practice of law for more than 5 years before Constitutional Courts and Statutory Tribunals in India
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical discipline) in addition to LLB

For Legal Consultant:

• Degree in Law (Bachelor of Laws – LLB) from a recognized university
• Enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India
• Continuous practice of law for at least 3 years before Constitutional Courts and Statutory Tribunals in India
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical discipline) in addition to LLB

Important Eligibility Conditions:

• You must have passed all examinations within the regular course duration for your LLB
• You cannot be pursuing any Post Graduate degree in Law or other programs that require compulsory attendance elsewhere
• You must be a citizen of India
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory, plus reasonable knowledge of Tamil language
• You cannot be a member of any political party
• You cannot hold any position (public or private) including Panchayat membership
• No criminal convictions, including cases under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881
• No pending criminal cases against you (at any stage – investigation, charge-sheet, or trial)

🎯 Selection Process

The selection process is straightforward and merit-based:
