🎯 Selection Process
Selection will be conducted as per the procedure described in Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 dated 17.09.2025.
Selection Criteria:
- Merit-based selection based on educational qualifications
- Special Preference: Widows, divorced, or abandoned women living below the poverty line will be given priority
Required Certificates for Priority:
- For Widows: Husband’s death certificate issued by Gram Panchayat/Nagar Panchayat/Municipal Corporation + certified copy of family register
- For Divorced/Abandoned: Court order is mandatory
⏳ Age Limit
As on 01-01-2026:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
Note: No separate age relaxation will be provided for SC/ST/OBC/General candidates. The date of birth recorded in the High School mark sheet will be considered valid.

Additional Important Information:
- Only for Female Candidates – Male candidates are not eligible
- Candidates must belong to the specific ward/gram panchayat where vacancy exists
- Two women from the same family cannot be appointed as Anganwadi Worker and Assistant at the same center
- If selected candidate is already an elected member (Gram Pradhan, Municipality Member, Councilor, Mayor, etc.), she must resign from that position before joining, otherwise selection will be cancelled
