🎓 Educational Qualifications

You must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university (Central/State Act or UGC-deemed university). Candidates who have appeared in their final exams but haven’t received results yet are also eligible — but must submit proof before joining.


⏳ Age Limit

Age as on 01 August 2026: Minimum 20 years — Maximum 25 years (Born between 02 August 2001 and 01 August 2006)

🎯 Selection Process

Selection happens in 4 stages:

Stage 1 — Written Examination (19 July 2026)

  • Paper I: General Ability & Intelligence — 250 marks, 2 hours, Objective (MCQ), bilingual. Covers: Mental Ability, General Science, Current Affairs, Polity, Economy, History, Geography. Negative marking applies (–0.33 per wrong answer).
  • Paper II: General Studies, Essay & Comprehension — 200 marks, 3 hours, Descriptive. Part A: Essay (80 marks, Hindi or English). Part B: Comprehension & Language (120 marks, English only).

Stage 2 — Physical Standards & Efficiency Tests (PST/PET)

Stage 3 — Interview / Personality Test — 150 marks (NCC ‘B’/’C’ certificate holders given preference)

Stage 4 — Medical Standards Test — Eye sight, general health, etc. checked. LASIK surgery is permitted under prescribed conditions.

Final merit = Written Exam marks + Interview marks.

  3. Complete Universal Registration to get your URN (Module 2)
  4. Fill the Common Application Form / CAF (Module 3)
  5. Fill the Exam-Specific form — choose exam centre, indicate force preference, pay fee (Module 4)
  6. Submit before 12 March 2026 by 6:00 PM
  7. Save/print your application for future use
