🎓 Educational Qualifications
For Scientific Officer:
- Master’s Degree in Forensic Science (First Class) from a recognized university
- Must be FACT (Forensic Aptitude and Caliber Test) qualified
For Scientific Assistant:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Forensic Science from a recognized university
- Must be FACT (Forensic Aptitude and Caliber Test) qualified
For Driver:
- Minimum Education: Class VIII (8th Standard) pass from a recognized school
- Residency: Must be a resident of West Bengal
- Driving License: Valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) with at least 2 years of experience (as on 01.01.2025)
- Experience: At least 2 years of driving experience in any Government, Quasi-Government, or registered Private organization

The selection process differs based on the position:
For Scientific Officer & Scientific Assistant:
- Selection based on FACT Score (Forensic Aptitude and Caliber Test)
- Personal Interview with shortlisted candidates
- Final selection depends on performance in both
For Driver:
- Practical Driving Test to assess driving skills
- Personal Interview with candidates who pass the driving test
- Final selection based on interview performance
